Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel McFadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel McFadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dante Velazquez! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velazquez takes the fight into the clinch. McFadden is trying to pull guard but Velazquez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Velazquez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McFadden can't fight it off and eventually Velazquez manages to take the fight to the floor. McFadden looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Velazquez preventing the sweep. Velazquez tries to free his leg and advance position but McFadden is retaining full guard. McFadden wants to sweep but no luck. McFadden isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Velazquez stacks McFadden on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Velazquez! McFadden tries to bench press Velazquez off him but Velazquez keeps the position. Velazquez tries for a kimura but McFadden is defending well. McFadden is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velazquez tries to advance to mount but McFadden denies him. Velazquez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McFadden sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. McFadden is looking to regain half guard here but Velazquez keeps moving and retains side control. McFadden is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McFadden is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. McFadden manages to regain full guard. Nice work. McFadden keeping moving, preventing Velazquez from controlling successfully. McFadden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Velazquez is one step ahead there. Velazquez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McFadden is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velazquez is working McFadden over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. McFadden manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

McFadden with shots to the head and body - Velazquez looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Dante Velazquez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McFadden lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Velazquez hang on?
That has opened up Dante Velazquez's cut even more. McFadden misses with a head shot. McFadden thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velazquez is squirming around, avoiding McFadden's attempts to control the action. Velazquez is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dante Velazquez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Daniel McFadden! A relieved looking Daniel McFadden thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
