Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bedug Dipo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dele Obasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dipo comes to the cage accompanied by Living in Victory. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Dipo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dipo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A combination from Dipo does no damage.
Dipo misses with a series of wild punches.
Dipo throws a series of punches but Obasi avoids them all with ease.
Obasi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dipo's sensitive parts.
Dipo thows a body shot but no joy.
Obasi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dipo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Obasi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dipo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Obasi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Obasi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dipo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Obasi was well out of range. Poor timing from Dipo.

Obasi misses with a double jab.
Dipo looks to land a combination but Obasi avoids it well.

Obasi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dipo to the ground. Obasi is now in Dipo's guard.
Obasi wants to control from the top but Dipo keeps moving.
Obasi is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dipo is on top in guard.

Dipo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Obasi circles away quickly and effectively.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Obasi in particular looking to stall.

Obasi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Obasi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dipo is now in Obasi's guard. A big mistake from Obasi there, giving up the dominant position!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dipo is looking to stand up but Obasi won't let him.

Obasi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Obasi wants to control but Dipo is keeping him busy.
Obasi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Obasi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dipo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
