Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anton LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
LaVey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Emelianenko finds it's way round the side to connect with LaVey's head.
LaVey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Emelianenko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Emelianenko throws a hook to the side of LaVey's head but LaVey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
LaVey looks to land a right hand but Emelianenko moved out of range.
LaVey throws a body punch but Emelianenko moves out of range.
Emelianenko forces LaVey back against the cage and clinches.

LaVey tries to circle away but Emelianenko has him pinned against the cage.
Emelianenko jumps into guard, dragging LaVey to the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

LaVey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and LaVey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Emelianenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but LaVey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
LaVey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
LaVey is working Emelianenko over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Emelianenko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Emelianenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. LaVey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Emelianenko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Emelianenko is trying to keep LaVey in close.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Emelianenko is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. LaVey is aware though and is defending well.
