Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pratipar Rapcheep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Passat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to looser by Beck. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ruffuss Passat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pratipar Rapcheep!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passat shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Ruffuss Passat has been cut.
Rapcheep stuffs the takedown.
Rapcheep pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rapcheep tries a head kick but it misses.
Passat blocks a head kick by Rapcheep.
Pratipar Rapcheep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Passat shoots in for a takedown but Rapcheep shows good takedown defense.
Passat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rapcheep throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rapcheep tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Passat shoots for a double leg takedown but Rapcheep sprawls well. He's pushed Passat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rapcheep throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Passat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rapcheep tries to avoid it but Passat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rapcheep to the ground. Rapcheep escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rapcheep fails to land with a series of punches.

A head kick misses from Rapcheep.
Rapcheep connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Passat to the floor! Rapcheep dives in looking for the finish!
Passat is rocked!
Passat wants to control but Rapcheep passes into side.
Oh Passat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Passat has control of an arm but Rapcheep manages to advance to Rapcheep's back!
Rapcheep controls the position.
Passat seems to have got his legs back now.
Rapcheep doesn't have the hooks in and Passat manages to turn into his guard.

Passat wants to control from the top but Rapcheep keeps moving.

Passat throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rapcheep uses it to pass to side control.

Rapcheep throws a sloppy head kick and Passat moves out of range easily.
Passat shoots in looking for a takedown. Rapcheep tries to sprawl out of it but Passat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rapcheep manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rapcheep is looking for a sweep.
Rapcheep is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Passat's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Passat is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rapcheep doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Passat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Passat takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Rapcheep counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rapcheep stuffs the takedown attempt from Passat. Passat gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Passat counters with a shoot takedown. Rapcheep fights it but they end up in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ruffuss Passat will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Passat looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rapcheep with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Passat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rapcheep does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Passat looks to land a strike but Rapcheep avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rapcheep takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rapcheep can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Passat controls the pace.

Passat is really struggling to control Rapcheep but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Passat is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rapcheep is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
