Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sonnen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beck defends it nicely.

Beck wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sonnen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Sonnen takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Beck digs a good hook to Sonnen's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Beck uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sonnen.
Beck throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sonnen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Sonnen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Austin Beck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beck lands with a straight right. Sonnen didn't see that one coming.
Beck scoring well with a low kick there.

Beck throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sonnen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Beck.
Beck is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sonnen rather than just go for the knockout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sonnen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beck - the referee stops the clock and Sonnen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beck. Sonnen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sonnen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Beck can pounce on him.
Beck thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sonnen if he has to take too many more of those.

Sonnen wants to stay close but Beck steps back to make room for something. Sonnen seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Beck and Sonnen drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
