Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cain Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcin Rozalski! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Rozalski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rozalski throws a head kick but Velasquez moves out of range.
Velasquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Velasquez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Rozalski is looking to clinch but Velasquez is avoiding it.
Rozalski goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez throws a shot from downtown. Rozalski moves away and avoids it. Rozalski fails in his attempt to clinch. Velasquez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rozalski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Velasquez somewhat. Rozalski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rozalski tries to clinch but Velasquez moves away and Velasquez moves into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Velasquez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rozalski is defending well. A knee to the head by Rozalski.
Rozalski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Velasquez smiles and moves away.
Rozalski tries to clinch and Velasquez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rozalski won't be happy with that. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Sloppy strikes there by Velasquez. Velasquez looks up at the clock and then as Rozalski takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Velasquez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rozalski is rocked!
It looks like Marcin Rozalski has been cut. Velasquez crunches a massive hammerfist down on Rozalski - he's out! Velasquez Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cain Velasquez! Cain Velasquez gave a mention to Hellraiser Fightgear ($10 and above) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
