Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edinaldo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira misses with an uppercut. Gomes saw that one coming.
Gomes moves in looking to clinch but Oliveira pushes him off.
Gomes misses with a head kick.
Gomes misses with a head kick.
Oliveira misses with a looping right.
Oliveira lands with a cross.
Oliveira throws out a powerful jab.
Oliveira lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Arthur Gomes has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gomes throws a head kick but Oliveira moves out of range.
Oliveira blocks a head kick by Gomes.
Gomes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oliveira cracks Gomes with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gomes tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Oliveira pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gomes is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
