The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ground throws a sloppy head kick and Machida moves out of range easily.
Machida on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ground. Ground obviously looking to wear him down.
Oooooh!!! Ground has knocked Machida down with a huge combo! Ground steps away and waves a wobbly Machida back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Matt Machida has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ground fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Machida out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Pound Ground!
An out of breath Pound Ground thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
