Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Jecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Takatukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jecht comes to the cage accompanied by Pink Floyd - Young Lust. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sir Jecht!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mikko Takatukka!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Takatukka.
Takatukka thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice takedown defense from Takatukka. No joy for Jecht on that attempt.
Takatukka misses with an uppercut.
Jecht bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jecht fails with a takedown attempt.

Jecht looking to score a takedown here. Takatukka is defending well but Jecht drives through and ends up in Takatukka's guard.
Jecht really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Takatukka seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jecht has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Takatukka is pulling down on Jecht's head to control his posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jecht's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Takatukka tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Takatukka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jecht's guard.
Takatukka trying to control the position from guard on top but Jecht is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jecht can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Takatukka controls the pace.
Jecht keeping moving, preventing Takatukka from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikko Takatukka was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Takatukka moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

and Jecht counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takatukka wants to get back to full guard.
Jecht sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Takatukka defending well though.
Takatukka is looking to improve his position.
Takatukka wants to control but Jecht is keeping busy.
Takatukka is looking to escape.
Jecht lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Takatukka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jecht.
Jecht wants to pass to mount but Takatukka is defending the position.
Jecht sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Takatukka defending well though.

Takatukka has one foot on Jecht's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Jecht throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jecht shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sir Jecht. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jecht avoids the body shot from Takatukka.
Takatukka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jecht misses with a left hand
and Jecht takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Takatukka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jecht wants to slow Takatukka down by chopping away at his legs.
Jecht misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takatukka.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jecht staying out of range there.
Takatukka misses with a looping left.
Takatukka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jecht moves away.
Jecht lands with a hook. Takatukka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jecht throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Takatukka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jecht doesn't seem bothered though.
Jecht throws a leg kick but Takatukka checks it.
Takatukka looks to throw the jab but Jecht is out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jecht fails to land the takedown.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Jecht moves away from the strike by Takatukka.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sir Jecht will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice sprawl there from Takatukka as Jecht shoots in.
Takatukka finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Jecht's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Takatukka falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sir Jecht!
Sir Jecht retains his welterweight title!
Our winner, Sir Jecht, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
