The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimirovitch with a poor takedown
and Thurston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Vladimirovitch has his takedown stuffed
letting Thurston counter with a right hand.
Thurston darts in and clinches Vladimirovitch up against the cage.
Vladimirovitch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thurston pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raymond Vladimirovitch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vladimirovitch shoots in and drives through. Thurston sprawls well.
Thurston stuffs the takedown attempt from Vladimirovitch. Vladimirovitch gets slowly back to his feet.
Vladimirovitch is breathing heavily.

Vladimirovitch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thurston throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vladimirovitch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vladimirovitch walks into a straight right hand from Thurston.
Thurston rushes Vladimirovitch and presses him up against the cage.
Thurston breaks the clinch.
Thurston moves into the clinch.
Thurston gets underhooks to prevent Vladimirovitch's takedown attempt.
Thurston breaks from the clinch.
Thurston connects with a right hand. Vladimirovitch shakes it off.
Vladimirovitch tries to keep at a distance but Thurston has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thurston breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thurston Rushes Vladimirovitch and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Vladimirovitch is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Thurston Piles on the pressure and Vladimirovitch crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
