Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Susumo Komota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage comes to the cage accompanied by Thrift Shop. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Susumo Komota!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komota swats away the attempt to clinch by Cage.
Cage misses with a hook
and Komota counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cage misses with a wild combination.
Cage dodges the punch combination from Komota.
Cage slips a jab and a cross from Komota.
Komota swings for the body but Cage moves out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Cage checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cage throws a hook to the side of Komota's head but Komota sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It looks like Susumo Komota has been cut.
Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Komota paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Komota shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Komota showed some decent athleticism there.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
