Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Churchhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Winston Churchhill!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee pushes Churchhill up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee can't break the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Lee.
Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lee jumps guard but Churchhill stands there with Lee around his waist. Lee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch.
Churchhill avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee is looking to clinch.
Lee throws a head kick but Churchhill moves out of range.

Lee closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Churchhill tries to stall but Lee uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Lee wants the takedown. Churchhill is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Churchhill's guard against the cage.
Churchhill wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Churchhill keeping busy on the bottom but Lee has passed one foot through into half guard.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Churchhill on the ground.
Churchhill wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.
Lee trying to pass the guard but Churchhill defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is keen to just control but Churchhill is a slippery customer.
Churchhill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lee.
Churchhill tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Churchhill regains half guard.
Churchhill makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Churchhill.
Lee throwing strikes but missing.
Lee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Churchhill looking for a guillotine here but Lee defends easily.
Churchhill is trying to control the position but Lee postures up.
Churchhill lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee!
Churchhill looks gassed!

Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
Churchhill sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Churchhill content just to control the position here.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Churchhill lands with some strikes.

Churchhill jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Churchhill goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Churchhill's guard! Nice work there by Lee!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Churchhill keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Churchhill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Churchhill trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Churchhill is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lee controls Churchhill momentarily but Churchhill frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Lee will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Churchhill tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily

and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.

Lee is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Churchhill has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lee is looking to defend but Churchhill has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lee! Churchhill pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lee taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Winston Churchhill!
