Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thiago Pinto enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto digs a good hook to Salace's body.
Decent striking displayed by Pinto there.
Pinto moves into range and clinches up with Salace.
Pinto swings wildly with an uppercut but Salace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Salace can't get the takedown.
Pinto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Salace is defending well for now.
Salace pulls Pinto into guard.
Pinto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Salace has his foot on Pinto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pinto works his way back into a safe position though.

Salaceis looking to pass into half guard but Pinto pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pinto is in guard.

Pinto postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Salace in real trouble here! The ref calls for Salace to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
