Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Claes Fleming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calzaghe has chosen The Pride of Wales as his entrance music. Claes Fleming had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleming ducks under a wild hook from Calzaghe.
Calzaghe connects with a right hand. Fleming shakes it off.
Calzaghe throws a body punch but Fleming moves out of range.

Calzaghe clobbers Fleming with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Nice combo by Calzaghe! Oh, that's hurt him - Fleming falls to the canvas and Calzaghe follows him into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Calzaghe stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Calzaghe cracks Fleming on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fleming falls backwards against the cage. Calzaghe follows up with more strikes that drop Fleming to his knees. Calzaghe keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fleming! This one is all over!
