Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Tosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Esposito! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esposito misses with a low kick as Tosh jumps back. Esposito sizes up Tosh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Esposito lands a nice shot that snaps Tosh's head back.

The crowd cheers as Tosh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Esposito doesn't seem phased though. Tosh lands a nice looking body shot.

Tosh wants to pass the guard but Esposito is keeping the position. Tosh throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Esposito works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tosh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Esposito manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tosh has Esposito in his guard. Esposito is looking to work some ground and pound but Tosh has wrist control. Tosh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Esposito with a flurry of punches that miss. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Esposito throwing strikes from guard but Tosh blocks nicely. Tosh tries to score with some ground and pound. Esposito controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Esposito is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tosh's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Esposito is refusing to be controlled, as Tosh sits in half guard. Tosh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tosh is looking to take a break and control but Esposito is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Esposito wants to improve his position but Tosh is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Tosh. Tosh shoots in looking for a takedown. Esposito tries to sprawl out of it but Tosh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Esposito manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Esposito thows a body shot but no joy. Esposito takes one to the side of the head.

Frank Esposito showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Esposito pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A low kick from Tosh is predictable there and Esposito counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tosh misses with a head kick.

and Tosh counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tosh scores with a kick to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tosh throws a low kick, looking for Esposito's leg but Esposito calmly moves out of range. Tosh shoots for a double leg takedown but Esposito sprawls well. He's pushed Tosh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Esposito stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Esposito wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Tosh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Esposito throws a wild body kick that Tosh sees coming a mile off.
