Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Galvoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zap Rowsdower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marcelo Galvoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zap Rowsdower! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowsdower shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Galvoa as he jumps to the side. Galvoa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rowsdower keeping full guard, as Galvoa tries to pass. Rowsdower is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Galvoa advances to half guard. Galvoa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rowsdower defends it well. Rowsdower is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rowsdower has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Galvoa is working away from the top position though. Galvoa controlling the pace. Rowsdower flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rowsdower moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Galvoa trying to control the position from guard on top but Rowsdower is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rowsdower tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rowsdower is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rowsdower is on top in guard.
Rowsdower postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Galvoa has a closed guard, preventing Rowsdower from standing up. Galvoa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Galvoa has his foot on Rowsdower's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rowsdower works his way back into a safe position though. Rowsdower is looking to work some ground and pound but Galvoa has wrist control. Rowsdower won't allow Galvoa to sweep him here. Galvoa is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rowsdower throwing strikes but missing. Rowsdower really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galvoa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rowsdower pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Galvoa is keeping the position for now. Rowsdower trying to move into half guard but instead Galvoa has managed to sweep! Rowsdower throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rowsdower shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rowsdower looks gassed! Galvoa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rowsdower gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rowsdower throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Galvoa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rowsdower is looking to work some ground and pound but Galvoa has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Galvoa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Galvoa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rowsdower manages to get himself to full guard.
Galvoa passes Rowsdower's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rowsdower tries to roll over but Galvoa keeps him under control. Galvoa works his way into full mount! Rowsdower sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Galvoa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rowsdower is just riding it out for now. Galvoa eventually gives up the hold. Galvoa tries to pass to full mount but Rowsdower defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rowsdower flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Rowsdower wants to control but Galvoa is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rowsdower is trying to stand up here but Galvoa is controlling him well. Galvoa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rowsdower is just riding it out for now. Galvoa eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are battling for position here. Rowsdower manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rowsdower is on top in guard.

Rowsdower has his takedown stuffed and Galvoa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Galvoa won't allow Rowsdower to sweep him here. Galvoa passes Rowsdower's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Galvoa is working for a submission of some sort.

Galvoa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rowsdower doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Galvoa. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Galvoa passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rowsdower!
That's one minute gone in the round. Galvoa looking to control but Rowsdower is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rowsdower defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Galvoa. Galvoa wants to finish this one by submission but Rowsdower is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Galvoa. Rowsdower is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rowsdower tries to hold on but Galvoa pushes him away. Galvoa working for a guillotine from mount but Rowsdower is in no mood to give up. Rowsdower gets back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Rowsdower manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rowsdower working a defensive guard but Galvoa passes into half guard.

Galvoa is looking to take a break and control but Rowsdower is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Galvoa is working for a kimura but Rowsdower is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Galvoa is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rowsdower is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
