Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Opaki Ljevpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Vinicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markus Vinicius told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Markus Vinicius!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Vinicius misses.
Ljevpo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ljevpo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vinicius counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vinicius lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ljevpo at a distance.
Ljevpo shoots in looking for a takedown. Vinicius tries to sprawl out of it but Ljevpo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vinicius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Vinicius counters with a left and a right... And another left! Ljevpo is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Markus Vinicius!
During a confident post fight interview, Markus Vinicius thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
