Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danza's entrance music is Who's the Boss. A fine choice. Roshan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Linkin Park-Bleed It Out. Damian Roshan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Danza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Roshan! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danza walks forward, straight into a front kick from Roshan. The fight stays on the outside here - Danza looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Danza throws a chopping leg kick but Roshan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Roshan takes a swing at Danza's ribcage but misses. Danza closes the distance and pushes Roshan back into the cage. Roshan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Danza throws a punch but it's blocked by Roshan. Roshan tries to pull guard but Danza holds him up against the cage and eventually Roshan drops back down to his feet.
Roshan goes for a takedown attempt but Danza pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Roshan gets caught flat footed, as Danza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Danza trying to control but Roshan is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danza is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Roshan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Danza with a flurry of punches that miss. Danza wants to control from the top but Roshan keeps moving. Danza showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tony Danza just wasn't active enough. Danza throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Roshan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Danza is in Roshan's guard. Danza wants to control from the top but Roshan keeps moving. Danza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roshan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Danza trying to control the position from guard on top but Roshan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Roshan keeping full guard, as Danza tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roshan keeping moving, preventing Danza from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan is looking to stand up but Danza isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tony Danza wasn't doing enough on the ground. Danza tries to clinch up and Roshan counters with a big head kick but Danza shrugs it off. Tony Danza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roshan tries to keep at a distance but Danza has taken the fight into the clinch. Danza gets control of Roshan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Danza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Danza seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Roshan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan shoots in looking for a takedown but Danza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roshan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tony Danza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Roshan. Danza is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Danza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Roshan keeps the fight on the outside. Danza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roshan counters with a big head kick but Danza shrugs it off. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roshan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Tony Danza dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Danza dives in and scores a takedown into Roshan's guard. Danza throws a strike but Roshan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Roshan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Danza is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Danza has his hands on Roshan's head, controlling the position. Danza has an active guard here but Roshan has managed to pass into half guard.
Danza has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roshan is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danza is looking for a sweep. Roshan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Roshan prevents Danza from standing back up.
Roshan is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Danza manages to get to full guard. Roshan wanted to stand there but Danza had control of the position. Danza tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roshan is aware though and is defending well. Danza looking for a guillotine here but Roshan defends easily.
Roshan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Danza scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Danza shoots in and drives through. Roshan sprawls well. Roshan fails with the takedown. Roshan lands a jab to Danza's midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danza closes the distance looking to clinch and Roshan counters with a stiff right hand. Danza slips under a jab. Roshan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Danza tries to clinch there but Roshan circles away.
Danza shoots in for a takedown but Roshan shows good takedown defense. Danza wants to clinch. Danza fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Danza's calf. Danza forces Roshan back against the cage and clinches. Roshan tries to pull guard but Danza forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Roshan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Danza uses from the top position. Danza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Danza has gone for a leg lock! Roshan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Danza's guard. Danza trying to control the position here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Danza's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danza is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Roshan is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Danza is trying to reverse the position but instead Roshan has taken his back - oops!
That's one minute gone in the round. Danza looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. I would not like to be Danza right now.
Danza trying to control but not successfully. Roshan gets back to his feet - a bit of a stange decision given the position he was in. Roshan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Danza tries to clinch there but Roshan circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roshan sizes up Danza with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Roshan. Roshan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Horrible takedown by Roshan or perhaps it was just good defense by Danza which made him look bad. Danza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice defenses there by Danza. Roshan swats away the attempt to clinch by Danza. Danza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roshan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan circles away from the clinch attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Danza misses with a takedown and Roshan counters with a nice leg kick. Danza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roshan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Roshan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Roshan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Danza as he avoids it easily. Tony Danza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Roshan. Roshan with a lazy takedown attempt and Danza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Roshan won't be happy with that. Danza is looking to take a break and control but Roshan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tony Danza is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tony Danza overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Damian Roshan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roshan tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Danza just content to control the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Danza tries to advance to mount but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Danza. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Danza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
