PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Tandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tandy has chosen Hysteria - Muse as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fury has Tandy up against the cage in a clinch.
Fury tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tandy just stands there and leans against the cage.

Tandy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Brian Fury has been cut.

Fury gets control of Tandy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fury will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fury is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fury is keen to just control but Tandy is a slippery customer.
Fury wants to stand but Tandy has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Fury is trying to work for a kimura but Tandy is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Fury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
