With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charoen Thanasukolwit!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thanasukolwit sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bowens somewhat.
Thanasukolwit wants to clinch but Bowens slips to the side

and Bowens counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Thanasukolwit wants to sweep here but Bowens controlling him for the moment.
Thanasukolwit can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bowens controls the pace.
Bowens trying to control but Thanasukolwit is working from the bottom.
Bowens wants to pass the guard but Thanasukolwit is keeping the position.

Bowens is nestled in close to Thanasukolwit, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Thanasukolwit's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bowens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
