Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Langdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Le Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chung has chosen Cypress Hill - Latin Thugs as his entrance music. Le Chung will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephen Langdown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Le Chung! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langdown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Chung looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Langdown trying to control the position from guard on top but Chung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Langdown throws a big right hand that misses. Langdown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Langdown lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chung tries to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Langdown trying to control but Chung is working from the bottom. Langdown has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chung is proving hard to escape from. Chung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Langdown chips away with some ground and pound. Langdown advances to half guard. Chung is refusing to be controlled, as Langdown sits in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chung can do anything to dispel that myth. Langdown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chung on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Langdown throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Langdown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Langdown slips a nice elbow through Chung's hands, connecting with Chung's forehead. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Langdown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chung has hold of Langdown's hands but Langdown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Langdown is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Langdown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chung defending well though. Langdown wants to control but Chung is keeping him busy. Chung is looking to control Langdown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chung avoid being mounted? Langdown not doing much here.

Langdown scoring with strikes to the body and head. Langdown is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Langdown slips a nice elbow through Chung's hands, connecting with Chung's forehead. Chung is staying active underneath Langdown, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chung tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Langdown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chung knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Langdown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chung is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Langdown scores with a couple of nice shots. Langdown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chung does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Langdown lands a nice short elbow. Langdown working over Chung with some ground and pound. Chung looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Langdown landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Langdown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chung does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chung wants to get back to his feet.
Langdown wants to pass to mount but Chung is defending the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stephen Langdown. Langdown gets a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stephen Langdown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Langdown is working Chung over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chung is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Langdown connects with a couple of short punches. Langdown trying to control but Chung is working from the bottom. Chung has a closed guard, preventing Langdown from standing up. Langdown connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chung working a defensive guard here.

Chung throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Langdown escapes and throws Chung's legs to the side, diving into side control! Langdown lands a few punches from side control. Chung is not content to let Langdown control the position. Chung takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Chung is rocked! Langdown lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Chung is still in real trouble! Can Langdown finish him? Langdown cracks Chung with a big right hand but Chung just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Langdown scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Chung is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Langdown can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Langdown! Stephen Langdown decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
