Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Schtrappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Reimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Schtrappe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nitzer Ebb - Violent Playground. The crowd seem to be enjoying Reimer's choice of entrance music: BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jacque Schtrappe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Caleb Reimer! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schtrappe keeps the fight on the outside. Schtrappe stuns Reimer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Reimer moves in looking to clinch but Schtrappe pushes him off. Reimer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Schtrappe leaves Reimer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Reimer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Schtrappe misses with a body punch
and Reimer counters with a good low kick that Schtrappe was not able to check. Reimer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Schtrappe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reimer doesn't seem bothered though. Reimer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Reimer takes a kick to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reimer has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Schtrappe. Reimer fails in his attempt to clinch.

Reimer shoots in and drives through. Schtrappe sprawls well. Reimer avoids the body shot from Schtrappe.
Schtrappe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Schtrappe is looking to wear down Reimer with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Reimer on the wrong end of a nice hook. Schtrappe thows a body kick. Reimer tries to catch it but that hurt him. Nice body kick there by Schtrappe. Reimer checks the leg kick. Schtrappe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Reimer takes a body punch but keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action! Reimer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Schtrappe.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reimer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Schtrappe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Schtrappe punishes Reimer's body with a nice straight punch. Schtrappe slips a jab from Reimer. Schtrappe lands with a nice body kick. Reimer looks winded! Schtrappe misses with a wild body shot. Reimer tries to clinch there but Schtrappe circles away.
The fighters circling - Schtrappe throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Reimer throws a head kick but Schtrappe moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Schtrappe. Reimer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schtrappe avoids it really well and circles away. Jacque Schtrappe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb Reimer. Reimer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Schtrappe throws a shot to the body.

Reimer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Schtrappe is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Reimer. Schtrappe lands on the inside with an uppercut. Reimer throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Reimer tries to land knees in the clinch but Schtrappe avoids the damage to the body. Schtrappe lands a body punch. Schtrappe tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Reimer's elbow. Schtrappe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Reimer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schtrappe's efforts to push away. Schtrappe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reimer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Schtrappes head. Reimer lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Reimer has Schtrappe pressed against the cage, preventing Schtrappe from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Reimer keeps control of Schtrappe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Reimer scores a nice knee to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schtrappe struggles to land a body shot inside as Reimer controls his hands.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A quick uppercut on the inside from Schtrappe. Schtrappe struggles to land a body shot inside as Reimer controls his hands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacque Schtrappe dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

An inside leg kick lands from Schtrappe. Schtrappe looks to score with a jab to the body but Reimer is just out of range. A nice combination there by Schtrappe.
Schtrappe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Schtrappe. Reimer does a little dance to reset his feet. Reimer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Reimer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Reimer trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reimer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Schtrappe kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Reimer sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Reimer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Schtrappe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Schtrappe shrugs it off. Reimer prevents Schtrappe from getting the reversal. Reimer looking to finish with strikes here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schtrappe is working to get back to half guard.
Schtrappe manages to regain half guard. Good work. Schtrappe regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Reimer. Reimer sitting in guard here, content to control. Reimer wants to control from the top but Schtrappe keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schtrappe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Reimer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Schtrappe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reimer. Reimer throws a strike but Schtrappe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Schtrappe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reimer wants to hit a switch here but Schtrappe passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Reimer there! Schtrappe prevents Reimer from getting the reversal. Reimer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Schtrappe looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jacque Schtrappe will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Reimer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A leg kick checked by Schtrappe. Schtrappe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Reimer moves into the clinch. Schtrappe tries to break free but Reimer pushes him back against the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Reimer obliges. Schtrappe can't find room to land a body shot as Reimer controls the action.

Schtrappe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Schtrappe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schtrappe looks to score with a jab to the body but Reimer is just out of range. Jacque Schtrappe is winning the standup battle so far. Reimer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Schtrappe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reimer wants to clinch up but Schtrappe keeps it at a distance. Schtrappe cracks Reimer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Reimer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Reimer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schtrappe's waist but Schtrappe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reimer off to one side. Jacque Schtrappe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb Reimer. Reimer throws a shot from downtown. Schtrappe moves away and avoids it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schtrappe blocks a head kick by Reimer.

Reimer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Reimer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacque Schtrappe showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Schtrappe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
