Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yorito Nayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yorito Nayama!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nayama.
Nayama lands with a nice body punch.

Miller moves into the clinch successfully.
Miller is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nayama gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Miller jumps guard and drags Nayama to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nayama stays in close to Miller's body and controls the position.
Nayama wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Nayama advances to half guard.
Miller wants to control but Nayama passes into side.
Nayama tries to move into full mount but can't pass Miller's legs.
Miller is trying to escape the position but Nayama is controlling the position.

Miller manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Nayama prevents Miller from improving his position.
Nayama slows the pace down in half guard.
Nayama wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.

Miller wants to improve his position but Nayama is controlling well.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Yorito Nayama hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Miller shoots and misses
and Miller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Nayama gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nayama is on top in guard.
Nayama tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Miller working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Nayama has passed into half guard!
Nayama passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Miller!

Miller wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Miller is squirming around, avoiding Nayama's attempts to control the action.
Miller has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Nayama has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Miller prevents Nayama from getting a body triangle.
Nayama is not going to allow Miller to sit and survive in this position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Miller is really stuck here.
What can Miller do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Nayama is persistently looking for the submission but Miller is defending it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nayama has the hooks in. Miller is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nayama lands a nice hook to Miller's body. Miller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nayama was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Nayama shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nayama comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Nayama throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miller on the side of the head.

Nayama is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miller.

Nayama swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Miller ducks under a wild hook from Nayama.

Yorito Nayama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nayama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jimmy Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Miller clinches up against the cage.
Miller is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nayama misses with the head strike.

Miller has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nayama after a bit of a struggle.

I've got Nayama winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
