Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Shadow! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson shoots in and drives through. Shadow sprawls well. Shadow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Shadow lands with a hook. Wilson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Shadow lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wilson throws a half hearted mid kick. Wilson throws a series of punches but Shadow moves out of range. Wilson dodges the punch combination from Shadow.
Wilson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shadow to the mat! Shadow manages to get full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Shadow keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shadow's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Shadow tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control. Wilson tries to stand but can't do so whilst Shadow controls his leg. Wilson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wilson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Shadow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Shadow looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shadow bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilson takes a swing at Shadow's ribcage but misses. A jab from Shadow does it's job there. Joe Shadow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shadow tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it. Shadow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shadow is looking to clinch but Wilson is avoiding it.
Shadow tests Wilson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shadow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shadow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! An inside leg kick lands from Wilson. Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shadow's guard. Wilson looking to pass the guard. Wilson wants to control from the top but Shadow keeps moving. Wilson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wilson looking to sit in guard and control but Shadow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shadow wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving. Wilson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shadow. Wilson wants to sweep here but Shadow controlling him for the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Left hook, right uppercut from Wilson. Wilson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shadow but Shadow pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shadow is looking to clinch but Wilson is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow stalks Wilson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilson's face. Wilson staggers backwards, shaken. Wilson takes one to the chin there. Shadow wants to clinch. Wilson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shadow.
Wilson throws a shot from downtown. Shadow moves away and avoids it. Shadow tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance. Shadow avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shadow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wilson misses with a head kick.
Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. Wilson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shadow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shadow scores with a three punch combo!
Wilson is rocked! Wilson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shadow lands with a right that hurts Wilson. Wilson looks to clinch but Shadow throws a short knee that drops Wilson. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Joe Shadow!
