The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Klincko. That did some damage!
Klincko takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Blunt throws a head kick that misses.
Klincko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blunt throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Blunt counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

It looks like Dave Klincko has been cut.

Philly Blunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blunt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Klincko.

Blunt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Blunt.

Blunt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Klincko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Klincko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blunt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A bone on bone clash there as Klincko blocks the leg kick.

Klincko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Klincko throws a leg kick but Blunt sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Blunt has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Klincko.
Klincko slips under a jab.
The crowd cheers as Blunt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Klincko doesn't seem phased though.
Klincko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Klincko throws a hook but Blunt blocks it.
Blunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Klincko is just out of range.

Klincko drops Blunt with a right and a left! Klincko comes rushing in but Blunt regains his composure and manages to keep Klincko in guard.

Blunt is rocked!
Blunt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Klincko manages to get himself to full guard.
Blunt is still in real trouble! Can Klincko finish him?

Blunt seems to have recovered his senses.

Blunt is looking to stand up but Klincko won't let him.

Blunt stands up from Klincko's guard - Blunt perhaps looking for a knockout.
Blunt throws a leg kick that is checked
and Klincko counters with a low kick, right behind Blunt 's knee.
A punch lands to the side of Blunt 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blunt takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Klincko fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Klincko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Klincko looks to throw the jab but Blunt is out of range.
Blunt throws a low kick but Klincko moves out of range easily.
Klincko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blunt moves away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Klincko throws a lazy right hand but Blunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Klincko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Klincko closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Klincko will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Klincko connects with a nice looking jab.
Blunt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Blunt lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Klincko at a distance.
Blunt misses with a right hand

and Klincko counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Blunt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klincko is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Klincko!
