Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Copley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Copeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Copeland has chosen Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Copeland! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Copeland goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Copley gets caught flat footed, as Copeland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Copeland advances position into side control! Check out the look on Copeland's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Copeland is putting a hurting on Copley here, landing some big shots from side control. Copley is trying to control Copeland's posture but Copeland avoids it. The fight stays on the outside here - Copley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Copeland. Copeland does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A shot to the body from Copeland misses and Copley counters with a two punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Copley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Copeland backs up against the cage.

Doug Copley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Copeland shoots and misses and Copley counters with a one-two to the body.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Copeland takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Copeland tries to free his leg and advance position but Copley is retaining full guard. Copley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Copeland misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Copeland bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Copeland fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Copley checks it well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Copeland throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Copley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Copeland is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Copley rather than just go for the knockout. Copley tries to clinch up but Copeland circles away and keeps his distance. Jay Copeland is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Copeland misses with a body shot
and Copeland takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jay Copeland. I've got Copeland winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
