The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ware takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Clay keeps the fight on the outside.
Ware misses with a two punch combination.
Clay ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ware throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clay.
Clay misses with the combination.
Ware clinches.
Clay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ware fails with an attempt to clinch.
Clay misses with a low kick.
Clay throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clay throws a leg kick but Ware sees it coming and moves out of range.
Clay digs a good hook to Ware's body.
Ware is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Clay throws a nice looking combination but Ware bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ware throws a right and a left that Clay avoids nicely.
Clay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Clay misses with a low kick.
Clay connects with a crisp jab.
A lazy left from Clay finds it's target.

Clay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Clay throws a nice looking combination but Ware bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Clay slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ware gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ware tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Clay is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ware buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ware!! Ware is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Clay throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brodus Clay!
