Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Castle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Silva! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well. A decent looking body kick lands there for Silva. Castle shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense. Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Castle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Castle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Castle misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Castle avoids a kick to the body.
Castle checks a low kick from Silva. Castle takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Castle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
Castle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Castle trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Castle throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Castle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva pulls Castle in close to his closed guard and prevents Castle from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Castle stopping the sweep attempt from Silva. Castle content to stall in guard here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Castle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silva looks for the body kick but Castle saw that one coming. Silva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Castle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Castle trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Castle chips away with some ground and pound. Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Castle's guard. Castle trying to control the position.
Silva with a flurry of punches that miss. Castle looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva wants to control from the top but Castle keeps moving. Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Silva trying to control but Castle is working from the bottom. Castle is working an open guard so Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Castle, before circling back to the center of the mat. A swing and a miss from Silva. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castle fails with the takedown. Silva throws the kick towards the body but Castle avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mario Silva will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Castle moves out of range of the strikes. Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A head kick misses from Silva. Castle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. Castle throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Castle is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Silva throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Castle because Silva loaded up on that one. Frank Castle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Castle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Castle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle actively working from the bottom here. Silva tries to pass to full mount but Castle defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Silva sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Castle defending well though. Castle looking for submissions off his back. Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Castle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva. The fighters are battling for position here. Castle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Castle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Castle kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Castle has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though. Castle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Castle has wrist control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Castle's legs - danger averted. Silva trying to control but Castle is working from the bottom. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Castle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Silva wants to control from the top but Castle keeps moving. Silva postures up in Castle's guard and throws a big left but Castle blocks it. Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Castle has wrist control. Castle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Castle fails with a takedown attempt. Silva lands a left and a right that send Castle crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Castle is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silva throws an overhand right that drops Castle like a sack of potatoes! Silva dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Silva! A relieved looking Mario Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
