Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trang Troc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troc kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dr. Octagon - Real Raw. Connor has chosen Ça vaut mieux que d'attraper la scarlatine by Ray Venture as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor wants to clinch up but Troc keeps it at a distance.

Connor misses with an uppercut. Troc saw that one coming.

Connor throws a hook to the side of Troc's head but Troc sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Connor connects with a nice looking jab.
Troc throws an overhand right that lands on Connor's shoulder, as Connor tries to avoid the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Connor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Connor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
