Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Ryman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryman has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg Walker!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryman throws the left hand but Walker avoids the punch easily.
Ryman misses with an uppercut

and Walker counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ryman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Walker.
Walker lands strikes from half guard.
Ryman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Walker.

Ryman is breathing heavily.
Walker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ryman defending well though.
Walker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Walker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Walker thows a huge punch but Ryman dodges it nicely.
Walker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walker lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Walker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walker connects with a nice short shot to Ryman's temple.

Walker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Walker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Walker thows a huge punch but Ryman dodges it nicely.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker drops an elbow to the side of Ryman's head.
Ryman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walker on the ground.
Walker wants to pass the guard but Ryman is defending well.

Walker decides to stand up.

Walker dives in and scores a takedown into Ryman's guard.
Walker with a flurry of punches that miss.
Walker working some strikes from top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ryman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Walker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ryman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Walker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Walker postures up in Ryman's guard and throws a big left but Ryman blocks it.
Walker stands and throws Ryman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The strikes coming from Walker are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Walker lands a few punches from side control.
Walker throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ryman takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker looks up at the clock and then as Ryman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Walker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Walker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ryman is avoiding damage well.
Walker throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Ryman parries the strikes from Walker easily there. Walker is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ryman to escape.
Walker fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Walker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ryman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sloppy strikes there by Walker.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Greg Walker dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Ryman digs a good hook to Walker's body.

Walker lands a big elbow.
Walker throws some wild stikes that Ryman manages to avoid easily.

Ryman is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ryman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Ryman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walker postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Ryman bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Walker and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Walker!
An out of breath Greg Walker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
