The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pentti looks to land a combination but Siciliano avoids it well.
Pentti fails to land with a series of punches.

Pentti has managed to clinch.
Siciliano fails to pull guard.
A shot in the inside from Pentti.
Pentti misses with a body punch.
Siciliano is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Siciliano is trying to pull guard but Pentti turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Pentti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pentti has Siciliano up against the cage in a clinch.
Pentti tries to break the clinch but Siciliano is controlling the position.

Pentti is trying to maintain a safe position but Siciliano gets an underhook and turns Pentti into the cage.

Pentti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pentti lands a big head kick that sends Siciliano tumbling to the mat! Pentti takes a step backwards and waves Siciliano back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pentti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Siciliano drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Siciliano wants to pass the guard but Pentti is keeping the position.

Pentti has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Siciliano off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Pentti throws a head kick but Siciliano moves out of range.

Siciliano takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

letting Pentti counter with a right hand.
Oh Siciliano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pentti closes the distance and clinches.
Siciliano takes a shot to the head.
Siciliano can't get the takedown.
Pentti misses with some punches.
Siciliano blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Pentti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arvo Pentti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Siciliano moves into the clinch.
Pentti dips a shoulder and cracks Siciliano with a mighty uppercut! Siciliano falls back against the cage and Pentti unloads with a barrage of strikes! Siciliano is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pentti screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

After the fight, Arvo Pentti was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
