Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dark Dutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dutch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, feuer frei. Takeda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Warrior Asylum by Disturbed. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeda keeps the fight on the outside.
Dutch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takeda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Takeda moves away from the strike by Dutch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Takeda darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Takeda moves out of range of the strikes.
Dutch throws a right hand that misses
so Takeda counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dutch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dutch tries to get out of the position.

Dutch is pressed up against the cage. Takeda has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dutch down to the mat. Dutch avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dark Dutch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katsuo Takeda.

Takeda needs to keep his hands up - Dutch had a free shot at his head there.

Dutch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dutch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Takeda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dutch as he avoids it easily.

Dutch takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Dutch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takeda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dutch has managed to get both his arms back between Takeda's legs - danger averted.
