Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wayde Bowser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chez Michaels!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowser takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Bowser clinches up against the cage.
Michaels wants to get back to striking at distance but Bowser won't allow it.
Bowser holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Bowser tries a body shot but Michaels blocks it.
Bowser struggles to land a body shot inside as Michaels controls his hands.
Bowser throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bowser unloads a knee to the mid-section. Michaels lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Michaels managing to block the knees to the body from Bowser.
Bowser has Michaels pressed against the cage, preventing Michaels from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Still in the clinch, Bowser scores with a nice short uppercut.
Bowser with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Bowser pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bowser gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Michaels wants to break free but Bowser has control.
A frustrated look appears on Michaels's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bowser lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Michaels backwards.
Michaels has had enough of the clinch but Bowser keeps him there for the moment.
Bowser digs a right hand into Michaels's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Michaels's gas tank.
Bowser lands a knee to the body.
A shot in the inside from Bowser.
Bowser has Michaels pushed against the cage.
Bowser lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Chez Michaels has been cut.
Bowser stalls.
Knees in the clinch landing for Bowser.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bowser - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bowser pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bowser tries to work over Michaels's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Michaels is trying to force a seperation but Bowser has the dominant position.
Bowser lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Michaels backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Michaels being controlled against the cage.
Bowser lands with a left to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Michaels avoids the elbow strike from Bowser, against the cage.
Bowser can't find room to land a body shot as Michaels controls the action.
Michaels is trying to push Bowser away but Bowser has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Michaels takes a shot to the head.


Michaels is rocked!
Bowser has Michaels pressed against the cage. He pushes Michaels back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Bowser throws a beautiful elbow that sends Michaels crashing to the floor! Bowser piles on the pressure with more strikes! Michaels is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayde Bowser!
Wayde Bowser decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
