The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Gustafsson gets tackled into the cage by Diaz. Diaz maintains the clinch.

Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but Gustafsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Diaz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close round but I would say that Erik Gustafsson will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You get the feeling that Diaz really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gustafsson lands a big shot there that rocks Diaz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Diaz has closed the distance and engaged Gustafsson in a clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gustafsson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
