Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Benevides! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Davison! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benevides has his takedown stuffed and Davison counters with a three punch combo that has Benevides backing up. Benevides nods at Davison to acknowledge the strikes. Benevides slips under a jab from Davison. Davison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Benevides stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Benevides instigates a clinch. Davison fails to pull guard.
Davison tries to pull guard but Benevides forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Benevides ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Benevides no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Davison tries to free his leg and advance position but Benevides is retaining full guard. Benevides is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Davison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. No luck for Benevides with that takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Benevides drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Benevides seems to have locked his on tight now - Davison screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Benevides, as he picks up the win!
