Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petteri Vuorimaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Pain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petteri Vuorimaa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Pain! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pain looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The fight moves into the clinch position. Pain pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vuorimaa lands a couple of digs. Vuorimaa is stalling in the full guard. Vuorimaa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Vuorimaa pushing down on Pain's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Vuorimaa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vuorimaa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Vuorimaa decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Vuorimaa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Pain gets caught flat footed, as Vuorimaa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Vuorimaa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Vuorimaa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pain's guard. Vuorimaa controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vuorimaa not landing any meaningful shots this time. Vuorimaa looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Vuorimaa decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Pain throws a right and a left that Vuorimaa avoids nicely. Vuorimaa gets the takedown into side control. Vuorimaa works to advance to full mount. Pain defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Pain tries to hold on but Vuorimaa pushes him away. Vuorimaa gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Pain scores with a takedown into Vuorimaa's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vuorimaa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pain controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vuorimaa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pain wants to get back to full guard. Pain moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pain trying to keep a closed guard but Vuorimaa is proving a slippery customer.
Vuorimaa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pain, up you get! Vuorimaa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vuorimaa trying to pass the guard but Pain defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Vuorimaa seems content to control. Vuorimaa stands up and beckons Pain to join him on the feet. Vuorimaa is looking to clinch. Vuorimaa tries a head kick but it misses.
Vuorimaa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vuorimaa showed some decent athleticism there. Well, if Vuorimaa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vuorimaa passes into side control, despite Pain's attempt to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petteri Vuorimaa dominated that round. That's time! Vuorimaa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vuorimaa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Vuorimaa has hold of Pain's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pain seems comfortable defending it but Vuorimaa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pain is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pain is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Vuorimaa couldn't care less - he's delighted!
