Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jame Call (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hranghleia Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jame Call! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hranghleia Animai! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Call is defended easily by Animai. Call shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Animai as he avoids it easily. Animai darts in trying to clinch and Call counters with a nice double leg into side control. Animai won't be happy with that. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Animai tries to get back to half guard but can't. Animai tries to strike but it doesn't land. Animai is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Call is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Animai looks gassed! Call controls the position. Animai looking for a sweep but Call has passed into full mount! Oh no! Call avoids the attempt from Animai to control. Call lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Call knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Animai on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Call tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jame Call has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Animai tries to clinch but fails miserably and Call counters with a takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Animai tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Call wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Animai being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jame Call dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Animai closes the distance looking to clinch and Call counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Animai's guard now. Animai wants to sweep but no luck. Call slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Call stops Animai from standing up. Animai is breathing heavily. Call is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jame Call wasn't doing enough on the ground. Call circles away from the clinch attempt and Call counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Call. Call not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Call's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Animai tries to clinch up and Call counters with a shoot takedown. Animai fights it but they end up in guard. Animai can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Call controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jame Call. Animai tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Call counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Call's corner is telling him to maintain position. Animai wants to stand up but Call is controlling him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jame Call dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Call fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Animai avoids it really well and circles away. Animai stuffs the takedown. Call circles away from the clinch attempt and Call counters with a nice double leg into side control. Animai won't be happy with that. Animai is trying to control Call's posture but Call avoids it. Animai is trying to escape the position but Call is controlling the position. Animai takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Animai gets back to half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Call content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jame Call. Animai tries to clinch up and Call decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Animai's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Call is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Animai looks to clinch and Call counters with a single leg into guard. Animai didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Call looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jame Call overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Animai darts in trying to clinch so Call counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Call slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Call tries to free his leg and advance position but Animai is retaining full guard. Hranghleia Animai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Call seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Animai for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Jame Call showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Call, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
