The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emelyanenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Morris.
Emelyanenko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morris misses with a takedown attempt - Emelyanenko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morris fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A jab lands there for Emelyanenko.
It looks like Danny Morris has been cut.
Emelyanenko lands a big right hand that sends Morris crashing to the mat! Emelyanenko stays standing though and waves Morris back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Emelyanenko fakes the body blow, causing Morris to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Morris goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
