The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borga swinging wilding here.

Williams looks to land a left hand but Borga moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivan Borga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Montel Williams has been cut.
Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Williams throws a chopping leg kick but Borga manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Borga to the mat! Borga manages to get full guard.
Borga wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment.
Borga wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.
Borga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Williams misses with a looping right.
Williams tries for a takedown but Borga sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Borga looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Borga.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Borga is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Borga avoid being mounted?

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Borga swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams moves away from the strike by Borga.
Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Williams has an Americana. Borga didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Williams is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Williams hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
