Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Rovanpera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kale Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rovanpera comes to the cage accompanied by Die Antwoord - Enter The Ninja. Cruz has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rovanpera slips a jab and a cross from Cruz.
Cruz connects with the punch.
It looks like Seppo Rovanpera has been cut.
Rovanpera avoids the body shot from Cruz.
Rovanpera attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rovanpera with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cruz to score with a decent uppercut.

Rovanpera wants to slow Cruz down by chopping away at his legs.

Both fighters circling a little - Rovanpera finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Rovanpera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rovanpera throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cruz wants to get back to full guard.
Rovanpera looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cruz tries to roll over but Rovanpera keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rovanpera is looking to advance position but Cruz won't allow it.
Rovanpera trying to control from half guard but Cruz is working away.
Cruz manages to get to full guard.
Cruz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rovanpera gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cruz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rovanpera wants to pass the guard but Cruz is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rovanpera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rovanpera throws an elbow that misses. Cruz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rovanpera's guard. Nice move by Cruz!

Cruz lands a strong strike to the head of Rovanpera. That's dazed him! Cruz looking to finish here. Rovanpera is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cruz lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kale Cruz!
After winning the bout, Kale Cruz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
