Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ursus Maritimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane's entrance music is Sweet Skunk blues. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maritimus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Maritimus lands a right hook to the body.
Bane takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Maritimus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bane's waist but Bane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maritimus off to one side.
Xavier Bane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maritimus throws a leg kick but Bane sees it coming and moves out of range.

Bane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Maritimus's guard.
