Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 26 - 1, fighting out of London, Aidan Kincaid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Tibbs! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kincaid checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kincaid misses with the combination.
Tibbs on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tibbs moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kincaid throws a jab but it's blocked by Tibbs. Jab by Kincaid. Tibbs falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kincaid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tibbs throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kincaid throws a jab when Tibbs was well out of range. A lazy left from Kincaid finds it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kincaid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kincaid fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kincaid scores with a jab to the jaw. Tibbs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kincaid looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tibbs! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Tibbs is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kincaid fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tibbs is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kincaid lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Kincaid controlling his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kincaid lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tibbs hang on? Kincaid controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kincaid fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tibbs taking shots to the head. Tibbs wants to hold on but Kincaid pushes him away. Kincaid lands a heavy elbow. Tibbs tries to hold on but Kincaid postures up. Tibbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kincaid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kincaid scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kincaid controlling the pace for now. Tibbs is bucking up trying to escape but Kincaid cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Tibbs is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kincaid looking for a guillotine from mount but Tibbs is having none of it. Tibbs can't escape the position.
Tibbs wants to get back to his feet.
Kincaid sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kincaid raining down shots from the mount! Kincaid looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tibbs is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tibbs wants to get back to his feet.
Kincaid controlling his opponent. Kincaid cracks Tibbs with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kincaid with shots to the head and body - Tibbs looks very uncomfortable down there. Tibbs is still in real trouble! Can Kincaid finish him? Kincaid has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kincaid connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kincaid controlling from the full mount. Oooooh, big shot lands for Kincaid! Tibbs is hurt baaadly! Kincaid is firing away with more strikes - Tibbs is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aidan Kincaid! During a confident post fight interview, Aidan Kincaid thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
