The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Justus is trying to defend but Santos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Justus wants to control but Santos is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Santos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Justus is in trouble now - Santos has advanced to mount!
Santos landing shots from mount.

Santos controlling from the full mount.
Justus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Santos prevents Justus from getting the reversal.

Justus wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Santos lands a shot to the body.

Santos is riding his opponent, not letting Justus buck him off.

Santos is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Justus has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Santos has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Justus taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Santos doesn't care though - he's delighted!
