The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson connects with a solid leg kick.
Poe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Sean Thompson has been cut.
Poe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thompson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Poe pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thompson back to the cage. Poe follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
