Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coty Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonnen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flowers shoots for a takedown but Sonnen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Flowers moves into range and connects with a jab.
Flowers has managed to clinch.
Sonnen tries for a takedown but Flowers manages to get underhooks.
Sonnen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Flowers after a bit of a struggle.

Flowers trying to stall but Sonnen improves his position.
Sonnen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Flowers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Coty Flowers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Sonnen.

Flowers is not content to let Sonnen control the position.

Sonnen is trying to control the action in half guard but Flowers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Flowers pushes Sonnen off looking to stand but Sonnen dives back in and keeps control.
Sonnen passes into side control, despite Flowers's attempt to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Flowers lands with a nice combination. Sonnen backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.

and Sonnen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Flowers's guard.

Flowers wants to stand and escape but Sonnen is having none of it.

Flowers can't keep his opponent in guard - Sonnen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Sonnen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sonnen is looking to advance position but Flowers won't allow it.
Flowers is staying active underneath Sonnen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chael Sonnen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sonnen uses his free foot to push down on Flowers's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Flowers.
Flowers wants to try and get back to his feet.

The referee warns Flowers that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sonnen lands a big elbow.
Sonnen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sonnen prevents Flowers from getting the reversal.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Flowers is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Sonnen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Flowers has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sonnen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Flowers tries to reverse the position but Sonnen maintains control.
BOOM! Sonnen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sonnen lands a heavy elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sonnen lands a big shot there that rocks Flowers but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sonnen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Flowers looks a forlorn figure.
Flowers is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big strike lands for Sonnen! That's really hurt Flowers and he's turned his back - Sonnen keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sonnen jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chael Sonnen!
In his post fight interview, Chael Sonnen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
