Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunny Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bunny Barnes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Knuckles! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Knuckles sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Knuckles is looking to improve his position.
Barnes tries to pass to full mount but Knuckles defends it. Knuckles is trying to control but can't.
Barnes thows a huge punch but Knuckles dodges it nicely.
Barnes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knuckles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Knuckles manages to get to full guard.
Barnes wants to pass the guard but Knuckles is keeping the position. Barnes passes easily into side control. Nice work. Knuckles is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Barnes drops an elbow to the side of Knuckles's head. Knuckles has hold of Barnes's hands but Barnes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes working over Knuckles with some ground and pound. Knuckles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Knuckles gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barnes working some strikes from top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barnes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Knuckles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Knuckles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barnes is one step ahead there. Barnes connects with a couple of short punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knuckles is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Knuckles is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Barnes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Barnes keeping moving, preventing Knuckles from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knuckles works over Barnes with some ground and pound from guard. Knuckles stopping the sweep attempt from Barnes. Barnes is working hard here to advance position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barnes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Barnes working the ground and pound. Knuckles taking punishment in the form of punches.
Knuckles is looking to regain half guard here but Barnes keeps moving and retains side control. Knuckles looks gassed! Knuckles can't do much from the bottom here. Barnes lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Knuckles down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knuckles wants to control but Barnes postures up. Barnes working the body and head with strikes. Knuckles takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Barnes scores with punches from side control.

Barnes grinds an elbow into Knuckles's temple. Knuckles is still in real trouble! Can Barnes finish him? Barnes working the ground and pound. Barnes scoring with punches from side control. Knuckles gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Knuckles seems to have recovered his senses. Barnes winds up and cracks Knuckles with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Barnes drops an elbow to the side of Knuckles's head. Barnes wants to free his trapped foot but Knuckles is holding on for dear life with his legs. Barnes moves nicely into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnes cracks Knuckles with a big elbow. Barnes working the head and body with strikes. Barnes working the ground and pound. Knuckles is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Barnes off and has taken his back! Knuckles trying to control. Barnes is in bad spot here.

Barnes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barnes tries to get out of the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Barnes landing a few short strikes. Knuckles thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Knuckles tries to pass the half guard into mount. Barnes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bunny Barnes dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Barnes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bunny Barnes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barnes working the head and body with strikes. Barnes looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Barnes there. Barnes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Barnes lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barnes lands a nice short elbow. Knuckles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barnes is working away from the top position though. Knuckles is trying to stand up here but Barnes is controlling him well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barnes is nestled in close to Knuckles, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Knuckles wants to improve his position but Barnes is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Knuckles on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Barnes passes to full mount! It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Barnes here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Barnes lands with some strikes. Knuckles can't escape the position.

Barnes raining down shots from the mount! Barnes unloading with bombs! Barnes prevents Knuckles from getting the reversal. Knuckles tries to lock up and control but Barnes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes with shots to the head and body - Knuckles looks very uncomfortable down there. Barnes putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Barnes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Barnes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Knuckles can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Knuckles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Barnes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Knuckles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Barnes lands a couple of digs. Knuckles wants to sweep here but Barnes controlling him for the moment. Barnes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knuckles swivels though and keeps the full guard. Knuckles looking to control.
Knuckles looking for a triangle here. Barnes is fighting it but it looks tight! Knuckles pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Barnes is tapping out - this one is all over!
