Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earl Morris! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morris misses with a series of wild punches.
James throws a right and a left that Morris avoids nicely. James feints and as Morris raises his hands in defense, James changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. James trying to control but Morris is working from the bottom. James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. James is working hard here to advance position. James slips nicely into half guard. Morris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morris is refusing to be controlled, as James sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morris's head. James not landing any meaningful shots this time. James prevents Morris from standing back up.
James working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. James frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Morris blocking the ground and pound. James cracks Morris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
James scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Morris?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James unloads with some shots from mount but Morris bucks and avoids them well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Morris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Morris is rocked! James looking to control and managing it successfully. Morris is still in real trouble! Can James finish him? James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. James punching from mount but Morris doing a good job of avoiding damage. Morris seems to have recovered his senses. James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morris is looking to escape. James pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James throwing strikes here but Morris is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
James is landing with some decent strikes but Morris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. James thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. James punishing his opponent with strikes. James landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James loads up with a big shot that hurts Morris! He's pulled James in close but James has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Morris survive? More strikes from James and Morris is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
