Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Awesome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Macelroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome misses with a takedown attempt
and Macelroy counters with a shoot takedown. Awesome fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Awesome is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macelroy is aware though and is defending well.
Awesome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Macelroy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Macelroy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Macelroy passes Awesome's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Macelroy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Awesome wants to get back to full guard but Macelroy has mounted him!

Macelroy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Awesome shoots and misses
and Macelroy counters by moving into the clinch.
Macelroy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Awesome misses with a takedown
and Macelroy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Awesome thinking.

Macelroy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Macelroy throws an elbow but misses.

Awesome struggles to land a body shot inside as Macelroy controls his hands.

Awesome has Macelroy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Macelroy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Awesome changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Macelroy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Macelroy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Awesome jumps guard but Macelroy stands there with Awesome around his waist. Awesome gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Macelroy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Awesome tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Macelroy is in Awesome's guard.

Macelroy wants to control from the top but Awesome keeps moving.
Macelroy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Awesome kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Awesome knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Macelroy on the ground.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. James Macelroy wasn't active enough on the ground.
Awesome shoots in for a takedown but Macelroy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
