The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rio lands with a kick to the temple. Junakovic shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Mario Junakovic has been cut.
Rio throws a series of punches but Junakovic avoids them all with ease.
Rio tries a head kick but it misses.
Rio lands a big head kick that sends Junakovic tumbling to the mat! Rio takes a step backwards and waves Junakovic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Junakovic is rocked!
Turock Rio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Junakovic blocks a head kick by Rio.
Oh Junakovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rio tries to bum rush Junakovic with a series of wild strikes but Junakovic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oooh a lovely combination from Junakovic sends Rio down but not out. Junakovic dives into side control looking to finish.
Rio is rocked!
It looks like Turock Rio has been cut.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Junakovic lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Rio! Junakovic senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Rio out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
