Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes into the arena with Pop That blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Brown! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brown on his heels. He'll look to pass Brown's guard now, I'm sure. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown has a closed guard, preventing Walker from standing up. Brown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walker is aware though and is defending well. Brown managing to control the position. Brown is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard. Walker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Brown taking some punishment here, with Walker in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Brown is looking for a sweep. Walker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Walker blocks the strikes from Brown.
Brown tries to kick Walker off but Walker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Brown wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.
Well, if Walker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Brown looks like he's trying to stand up.
Brown tries to roll over but Walker keeps him under control. Brown controlling the position well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Walker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown. Walker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brown. Brown shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense. Walker stalks Brown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brown's face. Brown staggers backwards, shaken. Chris Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Walker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Brown blocks a head kick by Walker.
Brown throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Brown fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Walker to the ground. Brown is now in Walker's guard. Walker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walker keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is looking to stand up but Brown isn't so interested in that idea. Brown is in close to Walker's body, working some short punches and elbows. Walker is trying to keep Brown in close.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Walker is retaining full guard. Walker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Walker throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily. A slapping body kick lands there for Walker. Walker lands with a nice body punch. Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Walker moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off. Brown gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Walker to score an easy takedown into full guard. Walker is breathing heavily. Brown striking off his back but it's not causing Walker any problems. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Walker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Walker wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance. Walker lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Shane Brown has been cut. Brown gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Walker to score an easy takedown into full guard. Walker being controlled here momentarily. Brown keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully. Walker pushing down on Brown's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Walker wants to take a breather but Brown is having none of it. Brown taking some punishment here, with Walker in his half guard. Walker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker lands strikes from half guard. Brown is staying active underneath Walker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brown is looking for a sweep. Walker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brown is refusing to be controlled, as Walker sits in half guard. Chris Walker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Walker prevents Brown from improving his position. Brown is not content to let Walker control the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Walker winds up and cracks Brown with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Walker passes the guard and advances to mount! Walker controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape. Walker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Brown tries to hold on but Walker pushes him away. Brown is squirming around, avoiding Walker's attempts to control the action. Walker landing strikes from the mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker avoids the attempt from Brown to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker punching from mount but Brown doing a good job of avoiding damage. Brown working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown wants to hold on but Walker pushes him away. Brown is desperately trying to improve his position but Walker has a good base and remains in mount. Walker controlling his opponent. Walker tries to control but Brown wriggling away. Walker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker avoids the attempt from Brown to control. Walker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth. Walker scoring with strikes but Brown is staying in there. Brown is looking to improve his position but Walker isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walker thowing shots but they're missing. Walker looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Walker dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Shane Brown's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Walker wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance. A solid leg kick lands there for Walker.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown looking for a guillotine here but Walker defends easily.
Walker passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Walker trying to control the action but Brown is working from the bottom. Brown is looking to improve his position.
Brown is not content to let Walker control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brown is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Brown looking for submissions off his back. Walker thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
Brown is staying active underneath Walker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chris Walker has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Walker throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Walker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Walker wants to control the pace but Brown is squirming around nicely. Brown is wriggling around trying to escape.
Walker lands a big shot there that rocks Brown but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker looking to control and managing it successfully. Brown is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Walker locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Brown is forced to tap!
